Hair
As we get older and as we change our diets, our hair goes through  changes too.  Human hair is made of a protein called Keratin which is turn is made up of amino acids and cysteine disulfide.  Keratin is very strong and rigid when thick, it can be very flexible when very thin.  The latter makes sulfur atoms form a firm structure called disulfide bridges.  The levels of the amino acids and disulfide bridges determine what the hair will loo like.  There are basically three type of hair: Lanugo, which only grows on human fetuses.  Vellus is the finest hair on the body and grows on the chest and back.  Vellus is sometime referred to as "peach fuzz".  The most common type that we all see and love is called Terminal Hair, which is the hair on our head and body.
Generally the foods and the things  that we drink will have a direct effect in the way our hair looks.  A good way to keep the hair form getting dry is to drink lots of water and moisturize it daily.
