What Does a Healthy Kitchen Look Like
There are many ways to change our kitchens into a healthy kitchen.   A healthy kitchen is a kitchen that has the types of foods, drinks, and cooking utensils we will use in our lives for quite some time (unless Jesus tarries first).
A healthy kitchen is not going to come over night.  It will take time and patience to change our kitchens into healthier kitchens. Listed below are a few suggestions that will help jump start our kitchens into healthy kitchens.  KISS - Keep It Super Simple

1.  Stock up on whole grains and grain products.
2.  Buy lean meats, buy fish that has good omega 3 such as tuna, buy poultry that has low fat content.
3.  Stock up on green leafy vegetables.  Frozen can substitute for fresh and they can be stored much longer.
4.  Stock up on fresh fruits, when they are affordable.Frozen can substitute for fresh and can be stored longer.
5.  Dairy products are allowed as long as they are low in fat and do not contain cream.
6.  Use Olive oil and other healthy oils instead of butter or margarine.
7.  Replace soft drinks with real fruit juices and natural spring water or distilled water.
8.  Try to replace aluminum pots and pans with stoneware, corning ware, or Pyrex pots and pans.
